Save the date! The Transit Museum’s beloved festival of vintage buses and surface vehicles returns June 10, 2023! Explore buses from our vintage fleet, representing more than 80 years of New York City surface transit history. Enjoy photo ops, meet some of the bus drivers who help keep our city moving, check out our pop-up shop, and take in the view of the Manhattan skyline from the newly restored Emily Roebling Plaza underneath the Brooklyn Bridge.
Admission is free. The event runs 10am – 4pm, with 3:30pm as the last entrance time for vehicles. See you rain or shine!
The Bus Festival is supported by North Eastern Bus Rebuilders.
The Bus Festival will take place Emily Warren Roebling Plaza in Brooklyn Bridge Park, beneath the Brooklyn Bridge. The closest train stations are Clark Street (2, 3), High Street–Brooklyn Bridge (A, C), and York Street (F). The B25 Bus also stops very close to the festival site.
