The New York Transit Museum’s Library Membership program offers libraries a unique opportunity to form a collaborative partnership that benefits their communities and promotes life-long learning.

By enrolling in the Library Membership program, libraries receive two Family-level membership cards to lend to patrons, providing free Museum access to families throughout the year. 

Participation in the program helps support the Transit Museum’s exhibitions, collections, and educational initiatives. Your library’s involvement contributes to our continued growth—and in return, we help connect your patrons to the city’s deepest roots through its rich transit history.

Library Membership Includes:

• Two membership cards that may be loaned to patrons, each providing free admission for two adults and up to four children. 
• An institutional promo code for $5 off public programs and excursions, which you may circulate to your patrons.
