FUNKTIONAL VIBRATIONS: HUDSON YARDS ART WALK WITH XENOBIA BAILEY

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Join us for a special tour of the 34th Street-Hudson Yards Station, which introduced subway service to the far West Side of midtown Manhattan in 2014. As part of a major development in the emerging, mixed-use community, the new station features extensive glass mosaic artwork by fiber artist Xenobia Bailey titled Funktional Vibrations (2015) commissioned by MTA Arts & Design. Bailey will join staff from the Museum and MTA Arts & Design to discuss her work and the process for creating this grand-scale public artwork.
