Head behind the scenes to Brooklyn’s Linden Yard, the only shop in the transit system dedicated to rehabilitating and replacing subway track and switch gear. Opened in 1977, Linden Yard is one of the few facilities without a third rail and with a rare connection from the subway to the mainline United States rail network.

Children must be 10+ to attend and accompanied by an adult at all times. To be admitted to this restricted site participants must provide a copy of a government-issued ID for a background check, and must sign a release immediately after purchasing tickets.
This tour provides access to a secure area normally off-limits to the general public. There may not be places to sit or amenities like climate control or restrooms. If you have any concerns, please email [email protected] or call 718-694-1867.
