Bus Festival Sunday, September 21, 2025 10am-3:30pm ET Emily Warren Roebling Plaza, Brooklyn Bridge Park Free!  
  Brooklyn, start your engines! On September 21, the New York Transit Museum and MTA New York City Transit present the 2025 Bus Festival at Brooklyn Bridge Park. Climb aboard and explore the evolution of NYC’s bus fleet, enjoy hands-on activities for all ages, meet the people who keep our city moving, and snap a picture-perfect photo of vintage vehicles with the Manhattan skyline as your backdrop. This year, keep your eyes peeled for some special guest vehicles—unexpected favorites that are sure to steal the show.   Bus Festival is free! The event runs rain or shine, from 10am-3:30pm, at Emily Warren Roebling Plaza in Brooklyn Bridge Park.

To help us better plan for the event, advance registration is encouraged but not required. Registration enters you into a raffle for a chance to win a Family membership to the Museum (a $100 value)!  

  Please Note:
    • Bus Festival runs rain or shine.
    • Buses will open for boarding at 10am ET and close at 3:30pm.
    • Children ages 15 and under must be accompanied by an adult.
    • Photography and video recording are permitted. However, tripods, stands, selfie sticks, and external lights may not be used. All photographs taken are for personal use only and permission to photograph may be revoked at any time.
    • The winner of the raffle will be contacted via email.
    • Accessibility: Brooklyn Bridge Park is ADA accessible. Please note that vintage buses have stairs, some modern vehicles may have wheelchair access. LOCATION

Bus Festival will take place at Emily Warren Roebling Plaza in Brooklyn Bridge Park, beneath the Brooklyn Bridge. The closest train stations are Clark Street (2/3), High Street–Brooklyn Bridge (A/C), and York Street (F).
