    SQUARES IN THE CITY

    The pieces sewn together in a quilt are similar to the tiles that decorate our subway stations—smaller pieces that are combined to make a beautiful, colorful whole. We’ll be joining different fabric pieces together and thinking of the neighborhoods and transportation lines that make up the colorful patchwork of New York City for our Transit Tots “quilting bee.”
