ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Rise and shine then come to the Transit Museum for an early opening! Children with disabilities and their families are invited to join us in Downtown Brooklyn for a morning of free family fun. Families can explore the Museum for an hour before it opens to the public, and participate in special transit-related activities led by trained Museum Educators.
At this Special Day for Special Kids, kids and their families can create a subway station inspired by nature in an art workshop, enjoy an interactive musical performance with a trained therapist, and join a scavenger hunt to find your favorite subway cars on the Museum’s platform! Light snacks will be offered, and a chill-out room with sensory objects will be available for anyone who’d like a break.
All ages welcome! Admission to this program is FREE and advanced registration is required.
