Subway Sketch and Sip with Sarah Nisbett

Join us for an evening of drawing at the New York Transit Museum! Hosted by illustrator and author of Drawn on the Way, Sarah Nisbett. The evening will begin with an introduction to Nisbett’s work and artistic approach. Following the conversation, explore the Museum and draw inspiration from bygone days in our 1936 decommissioned subway station, vintage subway cars, and artifacts on display in “The Subway Is…” exhibit.
All skill levels are welcome. Sketch boards, paper, and pencils will be provided, or you may bring your own art supplies (pencil and water–based marker only, please).
Your ticket includes one drink. Additional drink tickets will be available for a cash-only donation.
Tickets for this event are $20 for museum members and $25 for the general public.
For members the discount is applied at checkout.
Children ages 15 and under must be accompanied by an adult.
