Grab a seat on a beach-bound Nostalgia Ride heading to the Rockaways! We’re celebrating summer by taking vintage train cars on a trip from 96 St-2 Av station in Manhattan to Rockaway Park-Beach 116 St in Queens.

Pack a picnic and take a dip in the ocean or enjoy an additional ride before heading out to explore the boardwalk. At the end of the afternoon, you can ride the vintage trains back to the city, departing Rockaway Park at 3pm and traveling back to 96 St-2 Av station in Manhattan, or stay for a longer day at the beach before making your own way home.

Your safety is important to us!

  • Please walk carefully on platforms and stay behind the yellow line. Do not sit directly on the platform.
  • Please keep arms, hands and cameras inside the train. Walking between train cars is not allowed.
  • The first car of the train is a magical place for everyone. Please consider our youngest visitors and allow children to look out the front window.
  • Help us preserve these vintage cars for future generations! Do not eat or drink while on board and leave all original elements where they belong.
