Travel along the original segment of the 7 line and then do an “up and back” on the Astoria line from Queensboro Plaza. Along the way, learn about one of the first “subway suburbs” in Queens, discover a breathtaking view of the Manhattan skyline, imagine elevated trains coming over the Queensboro Bridge, and examine the architectural details of some of the first subway stations built in northern Queens under the Dual Contracts.
