ZOOMIN’ ZOETROPES 1:30-2:30pm

Travelers on the Q train heading from Brooklyn to Manhattan whirl past a blast of light and shapes as they emerge onto the Manhattan Bridge. This is Bill Brand’s MTA Arts & Design installation, Masstransiscope, which brings the optical illusion created by zoetropes to subway riders every day. We’ll design these simple animation devices, and learn how to tell stories by creating the illusion of motion. Ages 5+ and accompanying adults
