Big City Book Club: David Duchovny in Conversation with Ginia Bellafante

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Join the New York Times for their third Big City Book Club event at the New York Transit Museum! Hear from David Duchovny, widely known for his performances in “The X-Files” and “Californication,” who will discuss his new novel, “Miss Subways.” The title refers to the iconic contest and poster series that were features of New York City subway cars from the 1940s through the 1970s. Mr. Duchovny’s novel, set in the present, tells the story of a middle-aged teacher and the doorman who shakes up her life. Transit Museum archivists will have materials related to the Miss Subways campaign that inspired the book on display, as well. Ginia Bellafante, Big City columnist for the New York Times, leads the conversation on Tuesday, September 20th at 6:30 pm.
