Transit Talks on Senior Wednesdays

November 1, 2017 | 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm

FREE

Signs and Advertisements have adorned train cars since the 1880s. Some of the most memorable parts of our vintage fleet are the posters and signage reflecting the many decades through which each train travelled. Take a nostalgic walk along the platform, experience our vintage ads, and see which products have stood the test of time while sharing stories of riding the rails.

Transit Talks on Senior Wednesdays allow visitors to relive the experience of traveling through New York City during the twentieth century! During Transit Talks, seniors ages 62+ have the opportunity to explore our hands-on collection of vintage subway and elevated cars and discover the history, technology, design and future of transportation.
